Overview Assists the clinical pharmacists in providing an accurate and timely medication distribution system. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED required Registration:  Must be registered with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician within 30 days of hire date, and registration must be in good standing “active”. Certification:  Employees must have national certification with PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board)  or ExCPT (Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians) upon hire. .  Failure to successfully obtain national certification by the deadline will result in termination of employment.
