Department:  Environmental Services Reports To:   Environmental Services Supervisor SUMMARY Clean and sanitize rooms and furnishings in assigned work area, following established policies and procedures, to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the organization.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reviews and prioritizes cleaning schedule for the day. Cleans assigned area daily according to policies and procedures. Mops, vacuums and burnish floors. Wash mirrors, windows and ledges. Wash walls, ceilings, doors, mopboards and light fixtures. Clean TV's, clocks, pictures, phones, vents, registers, all furniture. Clean stairways, elevators, refrigerators. Clean beds, closets, over-bed tables and bedside units. Remove soiled drapes, and hang clean drapes. Clean toilets, bedpans, sinks and tubs.
