This is a dual Endoscopy Technician and Nursing Assistant role Four 10 hour shifts per week 7:30am-6:00pm Weeknight, holiday and weekend call is required based on department guidelines The Nursing Assistant duties include: Taking vital signs and blood sugars Assisting patients to their assigned bay Walking/wheelchair patients out to their rides post procedure Assisting patients to get dressed, and helping clean/make stretchers and turn over bays in between patients. Job Description: P osition Summary: Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs basic patient care duties including cleaning and preparation for the department. Also assists physicians and RNs with Endoscopic procedures in the Endoscopy suites.
