Overview The Home Infusion/Specialty Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring accurate and timely medication preparation and delivery. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment to support both sterile and non-sterile compounding needs. Key Responsibilities Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding. Communicate with patients, caregivers, and providers to coordinate refills, troubleshoot medication deliveries, and ensure continuity of care. Process new and refill prescriptions, manage inventory (stocking, auditing, and checking for expiration), and clean/sanitize the pharmacy area.
