This position administers life support care to sick and injured persons in pre-hospital setting, in accordance with statewide Treatment Protocols and HEMSI Medical Control Physicians, as authorized and directed by physician and/or paramedic. Qualifications: Hard Skill Requirements: 1) Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals 2) Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: a. State of Alabama EMSP License as EMT b. Healthcare Provider CPR Certification c. EVOC – once employed/promoted must obtain and maintain d.
