Seeking BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our well-established cardiology service in Springfield, Missouri. The physician will join a growing team currently with six interventional and non-interventional cardiologists, two electrophysiologists, three CT Surgeons, and four vascular surgeons. Our Cardiology outpatient clinics are attached via a skywalk to the Hospital. Cardiology is supported with 17 Cardiology APPs providing outpatient support and 24/7 inpatient coverage. This group works from the main hospital of a six hospital system. No traveling required. Invasive Cardiologists perform over 4,700 cath lab procedures annually, including a robust structural program. This position covers their outpatient clinic and supports our extensive cardiology program, performing and interpreting non-invasive cardiac imaging, including echocardiography and Nuclear Medicine. The experienced clinician/educator will be instrumental in launching our distant campus location and mentor the next generation of PAs in a supportive and collaborative academic environment. The faculty member will be involved in all facets of delivering a rigorous curriculum. Faculty will teach and direct courses in the didactic and clinical phases of the program, collaborate with dedicated faculty to implement an array of teaching and evaluation strategies, and build on existing relationships with clinical partners. Additional duties include student academic and professional development advising; participation in student admissions activities; participation in the program's ongoing self-study, accreditation, assessment, and continuous improvement processes; and involvement in university service activities.
