The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of California, Davis seeks a dynamic leader to serve as the Director of Molecular Pathology at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank, in the Clinical (X) or Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) series. This position reports to the Director of Clinical Pathology and will be an operational leader, providing strategic vision and collaborative implementation to enhance the department s Molecular Pathology Division and laboratory testing. Clinical and administrative responsibilities will include medical, technical, and scientific directorship of division staff and laboratory personnel in collaboration with the Department Chair and other department section leaders, with the expectations of supervising molecular laboratory operations, participating in test reporting and new test development, while contributing to quality assurance and accreditation activities.
