Responsibilities: JOB PURPOSE: Provides physics services related to the planning and delivery of therapeutic radiation treatment in accordance with the Radiation Oncologist's prescription. Provides technical leadership including clinical set-up expertise to radiation oncologists, dosimetrists and therapists. Performs quality assurance checks according to regulatory requirements and industry standards for all department equipment. Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Masters of Science in Medical Physics, or related discipline. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Three years of clinical experience in a radiation therapy department or completion of a CAMPEP approved residency program.
