The Advanced Practice Provider IP/OP Specialty Care provides specialized care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings in collaboration with physician(s). The APP assesses patients, interprets diagnostic test/results, and develops and implements treatment plans to address the patient's unique needs in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Inpatient/Outpatient Specialty Care includes Cardiology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Oncology, Infectious Disease, Plastic Surgery, Pulmonary, Orthopedics, Pediatric Sub-Specialty, Adolescent Medicine, Urology, Ear, Nose & Throat, Physical Medicine and Rehab, and Obstetrics & Gynecology (ARMC and MC without L&D). Essential Job Function Performs physical assessments of the patient, reviews their medical history, and interprets diagnostic tests/results in order to provide effective treatment for the patient.
