University of Pittsburgh Physicians, Department of Pediatrics, Same-Day Surgery is hiring a flex full-time Physician Assistant or CRNP (ACNP) to support Same-Day Surgery at the Main and North Surgery Centers. This Monday–Friday role offers rotating 8-hour shifts from 6:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., with no call or weekend requirements. The position requires a minimum of 28 hours per week, with the opportunity to flex up to 40 hours based on department staffing needs. The APP will provide outpatient pediatric perioperative care across pre-op at Same-Day Surgery Main and CHP North, PACU Phase II recovery and discharge, and the perioperative anesthesia virtual clinic. Preferred experience includes anesthesia, pain management, and nerve block knowledge.
