The APC – Clinic only position supports clinician teams in providing ambulatory care for obstetric and/or gynecology care. Primarily functions as an extender of care for physicians and/or nurse-midwives in order to enhance access and quality through a team-care approach to patient care. Practices collaborative management or referral as indicated by the health status of the patient. Responsible for managing health problems encountered by the patient and is accountable for health outcomes. Advanced Practice Clinicians must be certified in and licensed in at least one of the following positions and hold the requirements as listed below: Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) Nurse Practitioner (NP) Physician Assistant (PA) Job Duties: Performs accurate history and physical examinations for a low- to moderate-risk patient population.
