Under the supervision and collaboration of a physician hospitalist, the nurse practitioner provides comprehensive direct patient care and practice to include obtaining comprehensive patient histories, performing complete physical examinations, order and performing diagnostic testing and screening, diagnosing illness, prescribing both pharmacological and other treatments for patients, and providing health maintenance and promotion inventions such as patient and family education and counseling. Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Must have a current registered nurse license in the State of Alabama, with designation: CRNP, current ACLS provider. Overview: Job Duties An Advanced Practice Provider III (APP III) is a direct patient care provider licensed in the State of Florida and/or Georgia and provides medical services to patients as defined by their scope of practice and under the supervision of a physician licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida/Georgia.
