JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Master of Science in nursing required. Board Certification by recognized governing body for an Acute Care APRN (ANCC, AANP, AGACNP). Relevant experience required includes prior Emergency Department training or employment with trauma experience.
Licensed and in good standing with the state of Arkansas as both a Registered Nurse and an Advanced Practice Nurse with prescriptive authority in Arkansas. Licensed to prescribe controlled substance by the DEA and is in good standing. Basic Life Saver (BCLS) from AHA. Certification: ACLS from AHA, ATLS, TNCC. Certification: Possess or working toward Board Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN). Must have relevant clinical competence in providing acute care to Trauma, Emergency and Intensive Care to emergency room patients and their families.
