Description Job Summary The licensed Radiology Assistant supports the NCPS Radiology Department by performing delegated patient-care and imaging-related duties under the supervision of a Florida-licensed Radiologist and in accordance with department policies and applicable state and federal regulations. This role prepares patients for diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures, obtains and documents relevant clinical information, and assists with patient positioning and workflow to promote timely, high-quality care. The Radiology Assistant helps maintain a safe environment by applying radiation safety principles, infection prevention practices, and equipment safety checks. The position requires strong communication and collaboration with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure an excellent patient experience.
