Overview The primary purpose of the Palliative Care Coordinator position is to utilize expertise to provide bereavement services, palliative care, and spiritual support within University Hospital for patients who are dying and their families. Works collaboratively with the Advanced Practice Nurse for Ethic and Bereavement and with the Medical and Nursing Staffs of University Hospital to facilitate bereavement, spiritual support and palliative care that can serve as a model for other institutions.
