The Clinical Associate in Cardiac Surgery position at William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, with secondary assignments to Troy and Dearborn campuses, is a 12-to-24-month position designed to allow for advanced and subspecialty exposure in complex state of the art cardiac surgery including advanced aortic reconstruction, minimally invasive valvular procedures, mechanical circulatory support/ECMO and robotic procedures. The successful candidate will have completed an ACGME-accredited cardiothoracic surgery residency and be either ABTS eligible or certified. The individual will require a high degree of emotional intelligence with excellent conflict resolution skills and be able to function in a highly matrixed service line.
