Cooper addiction medicine division is an interdisciplinary, medical specialty program within our university healthcare setting. This role will oversee the hospital consultation service at Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional as well as outpatient addiction medicine services in Cape May County, New Jersey. Our division provides both inpatient and outpatient specialty care for individuals struggling with substance use disorders through a variety of programs including: Hospital consultation service Inpatient detoxification/stabilization and residential programs Emergency department and hospital bridge programs Community paramedicine and field buprenorphine initiation Jail transition care Outpatient group and specialty medical visits A low barrier walk-in clinic A wrap-around perinatal SUD program Dual diagnosis psychiatric and addiction medical care Integrated addiction and infectious disease care including HIV and hepatitis C treatment Other innovative community work...
