General Summary Serves as champion for clinical information technology (IT) adoption and the involvement, education and support of clinical staff in clinical IT efforts. Works in partnership with the Chief Medical Informatics Officer to ensure that health information systems support System clinical improvement efforts and integrate effectively with System IT infrastructure. Participates in relevant WellSpan committees. Devotes approximately twenty (20%) percent of time to active clinical practice. Duties and Responsibilities Serves as clinical leader of the electronic health record for the system direction and collaboration of staff in the multiple information systems areas with specific attention to clinical applications, clinical project management, clinical IT user education, knowledge management and E-Health applications.
