Overview:     Responsibilities: The Speech Language Pathologist, Schools Program shows initiative, responsibility, and action in assigned responsibility; understanding of physical, mental, psychological, and social needs of students; understanding of communication skills, evaluation, and treatment. Desire to work in collaboration with associates to provide quality interdisciplinary patient programming. Using independent judgement, the Speech Pathologist assumes the responsibility of providing a comprehensive evaluation of communication skills and/or feeding skills, and provides goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum development of communication and/or feeding skills. This position does provide direct patient care children ages 3-21, including comprehensive assessment, treatment planning and provision of therapy in the school setting.
