Overview Job Summary : The ambulatory pharmacist works to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services within Huntsville Hospital clinics. Pharmacists will meet with eligible patients during in-clinic appointments to provide education about closed-loop care. The pharmacist is responsible for ensuring enrolled patients are successfully treating their specialty condition to ensure the patients lives are improved as measured by specific, objective metrics. The pharmacist partners closely with the ambulatory pharmacy technicians to understand patient issues, such as insurance claim results, general counseling needs, and adherence concerns, and assists in resolutions as needed.
