Responsibilities Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions Accurately interprets physician orders; including dosing, allergies, interactions and patient profile review. Accurately dispenses medications at the campus/ area assigned in a timely manner, in the appropriate quantities, using the appropriate techniques (ie: aseptic technique for IV admixture, appropriate paperwork for controlled substances). Performs clinical functions appropriate to the campus/ area assigned; including but not limited to – renal dosing, kinetic dosing, profile review, and patient education. Assists with inventory management as appropriate for special order items, conversion to formulary items, and processing out of dates.
