POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy or the Registered Pharmacist and according to standard procedures, mixes IV additive solutions as required using aseptic technique with the primary engineering control; types labels; fills patient medication drawers; prepares and files charge slips; and performs other related duties. In addition to the tasks described above, an Intern Pharmacist may perform functions of a pharmacist only under the direct supervision of a pharmacist and under the discretion of the supervising pharmacist.
