Working with the director of pharmacy the Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for the pharmacy operations at Mount Auburn Hospital. This person assists the Director of Pharmacy with the interviewing, hiring, orientation, disciplining and ongoing training of all pharmacy staff as well as maintaining a state of regulatory preparedness required by Joint Commission, the Board of Pharmacy and other regulatory and accreditation agencies. The Pharmacy Operations Manager oversees the day to day operations to assure best practices, quality standards, regulatory requirements and Mount Auburn Hospital policies and Procedures are followed. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education High school diploma or GED required. Must be licensed with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy intern before the onset of duties. Must be enrolled in an ACPE accredited pharmacy school. Experience Excellent verbal communication skills, ability to work in a team environment and ability to work in stressful environments is essential. The ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks is also desired. Experience in the healthcare field is preferred. Physical This is a safety sensitive position.
