The Ambulatory Pharmacy Supervisor is a working supervisory role responsible for supporting the clinical practice and daily operations of ambulatory and satellite practice sites under the Director of Ambulatory & Infusion Pharmacy Services and corresponding manager(s). This position provides direct supervision of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, interns, and students practicing in these locations. The supervisor performs regulatory oversight, staff development, medication inventory management, and workflow oversight at the relevant BIDMC licensed ambulatory location(s). The supervisor is expected to maintain competency to staff at their primary ambulatory site(s), including sterile products areas, and serve as a clinical and operational escalation contact for staff working at the site(s).
