Job Summary :     The Supervisor of Pharmacy Operations position helps to participate in, direct, and supervise the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department related to medication preparation and distribution and other pharmacy supported services. The Supervisor of Pharmacy Operations assigns duties and tasks to employees; monitors workload and makes appropriate adjustment to achieve patient care goals; creates and monitors work schedule to ensure adequate staffing. Additionally, the Supervisor of Pharmacy Operations facilitates pharmacy technician meetings and other department-initiated communication such as shift huddles and safety huddles. Ensure staff accountability with policies and procedures; monitors and identifies opportunities for department and personnel performance improvement; conducts 1 on 1 meetings with team, documenting progress, motivating, and corrective action, if needed.
