About this Job: General Summary of Position Evaluates drugs prescribed by physicians for appropriateness of dose therapeutic efficacy allergy drug interaction and contraindications; processes prescriptions through insurance company and handles DUR rejects pre-authorizations etc.; performs final check on all prescriptions ensuring accurate input labeling and dispensing; and provides counseling and drug information to patients and physicians.
