About this Job: General Summary of Position Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician provides prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals to patients. About this Job: General Summary of Position The Research Pharmacist supports clinical research by managing investigational medications used in clinical trials. This role works closely with research coordinators, nurses, investigators, and sponsors to ensure investigational drugs are prepared, dispensed, and tracked safely and in compliance with study protocols and regulations. Also will support oncology services by verifying chemotherapy orders and facilitating medication preparation for outpatient infusion and inpatient chemotherapy patients. Resolves discrepancies of medication orders through communication with the physician clinical pharmacist or nursing staff and dispenses medication.
