POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Under direction of the Executive Director of Pharmacy (or their designee), the Senior Pharmacy Manager oversees, plans and manages pharmacy services in their assigned functional area (or location) provided by the organization. They will ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, and efficient pharmacy services to patients and staff in a highly matrixed and dynamic work environment. The Senior Pharmacy Manager assures compliance with all regulatory agencies, including but not limited to The Joint Commission (TJC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Medicare/Medicaid standards, Texas State Board of Pharmacy, United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) 795/797/800, Department of Public Safety, Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC), Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), and the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).
