Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and coordinates delivery of nursing care to groups of patients in compliance with hospital and departmental policies, protocols and procedures. He/she provides direct patient care by monitoring physiological and behavioral status, evaluating patient progress and the effectiveness of interventions, and by performing treatments and procedures. He/she recognizes, reports and documents clinical observations. The Registered Nurse participates in orientation, training and management of personnel. About Us The LPN or MA will assist the physician or provider with patient care in the Outpatient Wound Care Clinic. The clinical LPN/MA will prepare patients for provider visits by taking vital signs, removing dressings, cleansing/measuring wounds per policy, inputting data into EMR, relaying patient information to supervising RN or provider, and placing wound dressings as ordered.
