The unit has the ability to flex to 35 beds to accommodate hospital capacities. Registered Nurse Surgical Obs Full-time/flex 36 hours weekly Flexibility to work all shifts - Day/Evening and Evening/Overnight Shift hours. The predominant shift will be 12-hour shifts. Weekends and Holidays, – per the department guidelines. Newark Location Christiana Hospital is currently recruiting for Registered Nurse II to support our Post Anesthesia Care Surgical Observation Unit . The candidate who is selected will be expected to train in Prep and Holding, PACU Phase II, and Surgical Observation.  They will also assume responsibility and accountability for adult patients, admitted for observation and inpatient admission awaiting bed availability following a surgical procedure. Patients may require a level of care up to and including centralized cardiac monitoring and pulse oximetry monitoring.
