The ChristianaCare Nurse Residency Program is accredited with distinction as a Practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs. We know through empirical research, graduate nurses who go through a residency program have a higher success rate in practice. Therefore, we are committed to supporting all nurses with under a year of experience through a nurse residency program! This exciting 12 month program integrates educational components with up to 18 weeks of preceptor-led clinical experiences on the medical, surgical and step-down units at the Christiana and Wilmington Hospitals.
