About this Job: General Summary of Position Works with Surgeons Anesthesiology Nurses/Nurse Leaders Business Manager Scheduling Supervisor and other ancillary departments and staff to plan organize direct and control the daily activities involved in the effective and efficient management of the OR schedule while providing continuous and high-quality service for the perioperative patient. Ensures ORs have the necessary tools equipment and resources needed to successfully operate surgical procedures. Partner with Anesthesia Leader to accommodate emergency and stand-by cases. Responsible for Control Desk goals objectives policies and procedures staffing budgets fiscal management and quality improvement insuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
