About this Job: Unit Highlights Welcome to the Emergency Department at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center! The Emergency Department was completely renovated and expanded in 2021. There are 38 private treatment rooms, a dedicated behavioral health area, 8 flex chairs, and two large trauma rooms. Our Emergency Department sees over 48,000 patients per year.
