Job Summary and Responsibilities The Mobile Wellness Clinic midlevel provider is a licensed nurse practitioner (N.P.) or licensed physician assistant (P.A.) responsible for the provision of primary care and urgent/episodic care to the clinic's patients. The P.A. or N.P. provides a full scope of ambulatory care services largely geared to underserved populations. This care consists of comprehensive health screenings, establishing medical diagnosis for acute and chronic health problems, evaluation of normal and abnormal findings, initiation of treatments and referral services. These functions will be performed in accordance with standardized Procedures/Process Oriented Protocols approved by the Dominican Hospital Credential/Inter Disciplinary Practice Committee.
