Orthopedic APP - Hospital based Position Overview Lakeland Regional Health is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to support a high volume inpatient Orthopaedic practice. Primary focus will be trauma patients, but they will need to also care for inpatients from other orthopaedic subspecialties as needed. This role is designed for a highly motivated APP, interested mainly in hospital-based care. The applicant will work on a biweekly schedule alternating between day shifts and night shifts - i.e. 7 consecutive 12-hour shifts followed by 7 days off. This position includes a robust training period with the APP and physician staff over the first several months. Expectations are for the PA or NP to function on a high level of independence once fully trained in their respective position.
