Responsibilities: The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a 28-bed level III Baby Friendly Certified unit located on the 3 rd floor of the North Tower adjacent to the OB Emergency Department and the Labor and Delivery Department. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides exceptional care to our patients and community by maintaining a close working relationship with our interdisciplinary team. This team includes Cardiology services, ROP services, Respiratory Therapist, Speech and Occupational Therapist and Childrens Hospital of Atlanta. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is comprised of a well diverse culture, multiple skills levels and patient acuities with the support of designated Charge nurses, Unit Based Educator, energetic Clinical Manager and excellent teamwork.
