Position Title: CNS - Clinical Nurse Specialist - Adult Medical Surgical Department: Advance Practice Providers Job Description: General Description: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) will serve as clinical provider, expert clinician, and member of leadership. Will promote and support service line by providing advanced practice physician support, elevate nursing practice, and interdisciplinary team cohesiveness. Will maximize patient care and safety outcomes by addressing patient, staff, and service line. As a provider, will assist physicians and nursing staff in delivering effective, timely, and relevant patient- focused care. This includes but not limited to, physical assessments, H&P and progress note documentation, consenting process, ordering treatments, prescribing medications, interpret diagnostics, and facilitate hospitalization and home care needs.
