Job Details Description Location/Department:  Hospital - OB/New Beginnings PRN nights with weekend and holiday rotations Job Summary: Provide family-centered nursing care & education to the antepartum, laboring, postpartum, maternal newborn couplets & special care nursery patients/families.  Provide perinatal & follow-up testing & visits.  Directly supervises nursing assistants & unit secretary.  Requires interpretation of fetal monitoring.  Provides basic resuscitative care for newborns in the delivery room.  Technical responsibilities (i.e. computer, Mobilab, hearing screen).   Supervisory Responsibilities:   None Duties/Responsibilities: Uses only approved abbreviations.
