Overview The RN - Interventional Radiology Nurse is a professional caregiver who provides complete nursing care and moderate sedation for Interventional Radiology patients and nursing services for Radiology patients in all radiology modalities. This RN works closely with members of the Prep/Recovery team, as well as anesthesia, to facilitate excellent patient care. Overview The Carle BroMenn Cath Lab performs many exciting and innovative procedures including but not limited to: diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, electrophysiology, peripheral vascular, neuro interventional, and interventional radiology procedures. The procedural RN provides monitoring and comprehensive care of the patients undergoing these procedures including providing moderate sedation under the direction of the physician. They are responsible for collaborating with physicians, radiology technologists and other members of the care team to facilitate excellent patient care.
