Department:         Surgery Reports To:          Surgery Manager   SUMMARY Plans, organizes, directs and controls the delivery of patient care in the operating room, same day surgery, post anesthesia recovery room or endoscopy suite.  Provides nursing care through the process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.  Demonstrates environmental concerns of infection control practice, safety/fire practice, disaster practice, cardiac arrest practice, and continuous quality improvement.  Provides direction to the development of all department personnel and maintains collaboration with support services.
