Overview The Emergency Department Technician functions within the department under the direction of the ED Physician and the ED Resource Nurse. The technician is responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies and providing patient care under the direct supervision of the medical and nursing staff. Qualifications Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)American Heart Association (AHA), Education: H.S.
