This position is responsible for providing high quality patient centered primary health care to patients of the community health center's Dauphin Island Parkway Health Center in Mobile, AL. Candidates must: be committed to delivering whole patient care; be experienced in managing medically complex patients; be proficient with navigating and documenting in an electronic medical record (Athena); be licensed as a certified registered nurse practitioner by the Alabama Board of Nursing in Family Practice; have graduated from an accredited nursing program leading to certification as a Registered Nurse supplemented by completion of additional training as a Nurse Practitioner in an approved program.
