Position Title: RN Resident - Registered Nurse - CVICU - Full Time - Nights Department: Cardiovascular ICU Job Description: This is a 12-bed unit, that is housed in the penthouse/8th floor of the North Tower of the adult OU Health facility near downtown, Oklahoma City. We are a part of the Cardiovascular institute of OU Health, and are recognized by our royal blue color scrubs on campus. Our unit focuses on intensive care for adult patients with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular diseases and or requiring surgeries related to these categories. Patient to nursing staff ratio is 2:1, or 1:1 for higher acuity patients. Our unit is considered the only center in Oklahoma that reports thoracic surgery data to the Society of Thoracic Surgery (STS).
