Overview JOB SPECIFICS Perform comprehensive patient assessments, evaluate treatment response, and manage acute and chronic oncology-related symptoms and complications. Provide outpatient and potentially inpatient care. Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory studies, diagnostic testing, and imaging to guide treatment planning and patient care. Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, symptom management, supportive care, and survivorship planning. Participate in oncology clinics and specialty programs, including lung cancer screening, lung cancer clinic, and rapid diagnostic services. Participate in clinical rounds, tumor boards, and interdisciplinary care conferences to support coordinated, high-quality patient care.
