Responsibilities  The primary purpose of the Assistant Nurse Manager position is to provide support to the Assistant Director Nursing UH (ADON) in the management of operations and uphold all standards of patient safety and quality measures. In collaboration with the ADON manages daily and monthly staffing, daily shift assignments, and payroll to obtain efficiency and reduce overtime and agency utilization. Is accessible, approachable, and visible to staff; seeks staff input; and serves as clinical mentor. Actively assists staff on routine matters and is first line of response to problem-solving.
