Description UCHealth Greeley Hospital Emergency Department & Pediatric Observation Unit The UCHealth Greeley Hospital Emergency Department (GH ED) and Pediatric Observation Unit provide care for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced community hospital setting serving Northern Colorado. Our department cares for adult and pediatric patients across the acuity spectrum, from minor illnesses and injuries to critically ill patients requiring rapid stabilization, resuscitation, and transfer to higher levels of care when needed. In addition to emergency services, our nurses support a Pediatric Observation Unit that provides short-stay care for pediatric patients requiring ongoing monitoring, treatment, and evaluation. Nurses caring for this population must be comfortable transitioning between emergency and observation-level care while maintaining a family-centered approach.
