Works varied nights from 6 PM – 6:30 AM
Works 36 hours, paid for 40 hours
Works every 3rd Friday and Saturday from 6 PM – 6:30 AM
On-call one 12-hour shift every other week
Description:
Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total nursing care and functions in one unit on a particular shift, including functioning in Charge Nurse role
Responsible for orientation, training, and management of personnel
Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care
Maintains satisfactory relations with other departments
Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills.
Requirements
Educational/Experience:
Current Iowa licensure as a Registered Nurse
Healthcare Provider BLS
Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification within 6 months of employment
ACLS within 12 months of employment
