Current North Carolina Aide registry verified through the NC Healthcare Personnel Registry or Current North Carolina Nurses Aide registry listing verified through the N.C. Division of Facility Services. If CNAII, must maintain CNAI and II registry. Current AHA CPR or obtained within 30 days of hire. Must complete and pass EKG Course within 30 days of hire.

Summary Job Summary: Assumes responsibilities of a surgical nurse to include but not limited to providing care to surgical patients before the procedure begins, during the procedure and post-surgical.   Functions in several capacities, including circulating nurse, scrub nurse and sterile processing when needed.  Education: Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program.  Current and valid North Carolina Registered Nurse license with biannual renewal.  CPR and ACLS certification.  CNOR preferred.
