Oncology NP/PA The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides high-level patient care as a part of the clinical team. Under a licensed physician's direction, an Advanced Practice Provider provides direct patient care, including evaluating and examining new patients, managing patients undergoing treatment, and monitoring patients after treatment is complete. Position Highlights: - Join an established team of 18 APPs and 12 Physicians - Practice recognizes the value of work/life balance - Current APPs work 4 days per week by preference - Work involves inpatient and outpatient services - Full licensed medical team and support staff - See about 12-15 patients per day - Comfortable doing/learning chemotherapy education/consent visits, survivorship visits, treatment toxicity checks, lab reviews, support triage with urgent patient management issues, and understand practice in a COLLABORATIVE state (versus supervisory) - Could learn/do bone marrow biopsies after competency confirmed...
