Overview The Orthopaedic Center, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to work directly with one of TOC's established, board-certified orthopedic sports surgeon. This is an office and surgical-based position with a typical five-day work week, w orking in our Huntsville, Madison, and Decatur office locations on a rotational basis. Minimal call duties and weekend obligations. Candidate must be licensed to practice in Alabama. The Nurse Practioner's duties will include, but are not limited to, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic sports and activity-related injuries, focusing on shoulders, elbows and knees. This position is responsible for providing high quality patient centered primary health care to patients of the community health center's Dauphin Island Parkway Health Center in Mobile, AL. Candidates must: be committed to delivering whole patient care; be experienced in managing medically complex patients; be proficient with navigating and documenting in an electronic medical record (Athena); be licensed as a certified registered nurse practitioner by the Alabama Board of Nursing in Family Practice; have graduated from an accredited nursing program leading to certification as a Registered Nurse supplemented by completion of additional training as a Nurse Practitioner in an approved program.

Overview The Industrial Nurse Practitioner will work in an industrial setting delivering excellent customer service and maintaining quality patient care consistent with established policies and goals/objectives of OHG. The Industrial Nurse Practitioner is responsible to attend to and follow up on occupational injuries and illnesses and provide emergency medical assistance as needed.
